Five bathing forms for healthy enjoyment - the SANARIUM mit SaunaPur®.

It has long been known that smells influence our mood. This knowledge is applied in aromatherapy.  The combination of the healing effect of pleasant aromas and the comforting warmth of the sauna, however, is a completely new idea and represents just one of the many benefits offered by a SANARIUM with SaunaPUR®. This additional equipment for your sauna has been exclusively developed by KLAFS and provides a choice of aroma bath, warm air bath, soft steam bath, tropical bath or classical sauna. In addition to this, the patented SaunaPUR® function provides an authentic experience, previously almost exclusively the domain of the Finns.

As the Finns say: " A sauna without steam is like sitting in the Sahara sun." You'll agree once you have experienced an original Finish smoke sauna with its intensive infusions. The Finnish smoke sauna is preheated with an open fire under a huge amount of stones for a few hours. Shortly before the beginning of the bathing ceremony the fire is switched off and the smoke is led out through the open door.

As a result a soft and delightful radiation heat can be felt, which goes out from the whole sauna. Thereby the big quantity of sauna stones only drops the temperature very slowly and allows at the same time intensive infusions - so called Loeylys - as often and as ample you like it. The temperature can be personally controlled with it and a drop of temperature can be balanced. In that way an original sauna experience emerges, very natural with only wood, stones and water.

With the Klafs innovation SANARIUM mit SaunaPur® the person who takes a sauna can easily create the desired climate – if sauna, tropical bath, soft steam bath, aroma- or warm air bath. The five different forms of bathing which you are in a position to control at the touch of a button are milder than the classical sauna bath.

They are also particularly healthy. A study conducted by the well-known Charité organisation in Berlin has revealed that the gentle warmth of the SANARIUM® is able to alleviate and even cure high blood pressure. There is also evidence of a positive effect on the body’s immune system. The SaunaPUR® function brings you very near to the original form of sauna bathing. The heater is pre-heated to 80 to 85ºC and then switched off.  This produces gentle radiant heat and enables intensive raponsing to take place. The Finns would say: “Loeyly”.

At first glance, there is virtually no difference between a SANARIUM with SaunaPUR® and a “normal” sauna. A closer look reveals such tiny details as the SaunaPUR® button and the aroma cup, and these are an extremely important part of the process. By increasing humidity, the SANARIUM® is able to maintain perceived warmth at a constant level, even if the temperature has actually dropped. If you wish, this process can take place in the form of aromatic steam.
